Article marketing takes on various forms and one of the ways you can market correctly is by learning how to write a feature article. Feature articles, by definition are articles that are considered the main attraction. Feature articles are meant to do things in general- the first being to provide whoever the audience is with solid information and complete facts and the second, to be able to entertain whoever reads the article. In viewing these two functions you will be better able to figure out how to come up with a feature article that actually counts.
In terms of understanding how to write a feature article you must be able to understand how to present facts. Remember that not everyone who reads your article is going to know what you’re talking about. After all not everyone likes facts and statistics but they may like a particular topic. That’s the reason why you’ve got to find that balance between having enough facts and having too much. You also have to remember that having too many facts also makes your article harder to read which, is something you definitely want to avoid when you’re setting out to write a good feature article. The right balance between enough facts and too much is created by putting in enough facts that you look credible but at the same time leaving out enough facts so that what you’ve written isn’t that heavy.
In the case of the second goal of your feature article, you’ve got to make sure that your article is easy to read. What this means is that you should be able to present your article in a factual but entertaining way. Humour helps in this case and thankfully you are allowed to use humour when writing a feature article. Since a feature article is entertaining you also have the right to put in some colloquial and light phrases as needed. Additionally you also have the chance to actually voice out an opinion in a featured article, something that you can rarely do in a normal article.
When you have the right mix and balance between being factual and being entertaining your feature article becomes much easier to read. At the same time you’ll find that your readers will enjoy reading your articles because not only do they learning something new in the process, they still have the chance to have a quiet chuckle.
